Feakes backs 10:10 campaign sign-up

Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesman for Lewisham West & Penge Alex Feakes joined by Simon Hughes MP in backing the 10:10 campaign

Alex Feakes, Lewisham West & Penge parliamentary spokesman for the Lib Dems, has been joined by popular MP Simon Hughes in congratulating Lewisham Council in signing up to the 10:10 campaign to reduce carbon emissions.

Lewisham signed up after a meeting of the Council on Thursday evening unanimously endorsed a Lib Dem sponsored motion to join the campaign to cut carbon emissions by 10% by the end of 2010.

"I'm delighted that Lewisham has signed up to the 10:10 campaign - this is concrete action to tackle Climate Change," said Alex.
