This year will see the general election and elections to Bromley and Lewisham councils on 6th May - this is your chance to have a say in the way that our local area and our country is governed. Across the constituency, it is the Liberal Democrats who have been standing up for residents and local communities against the heavy cost of Labour's failures in government and the indifference of the the council administrations.

A ceremony at Kelvin Grove School on Saturday, November 28th, saw local Greenpeace members join forces with Cllr Alex Feakes, Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Lewisham West & Penge, to plant an apple tree and 'twin' Forest Hill with the threatened village.

Cllr Pete Pattisson, Cllr Alex Feakes and Tamora Langley submitted a petition of over 350 signatures from local residents demanding an end to the dire rail provision in Lewisham. The petition called for the proposed Victoria to Bellingham line to be re-instated after it was secretly cut by Transport for London. The service had been planned to mitigate the loss of the South London Line, but was scrapped without any public consultation.
